Cemvision is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to embrace our cause to facilitate the reduction of carbon emissions within the cement sector.

We’re currently on a journey to grow bigger, faster with the help of a skilled Mechanical Engineer to play a pivotal role in our demo- and full-scale trials at our cement plant.

⚙️ About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be a vital part of our demo- and full-scale trials, contributing to the design, implementation, and analysis of mechanical systems within our full scale cement plant by retrofit as well as new green field projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our innovative green cement production processes. You will report to our CTO and be a key team member.

Key responsibilities: 

• Trial and Equipment Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and manufacture equipment and plan full-scale trials, ensuring mechanical systems align with project objectives.

• Implementation: Oversee the installation and configuration of mechanical equipment, ensuring smooth operation during trials and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data from trials, identifying patterns and trends, and providing valuable insights for process optimization.

• Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and documentation outlining trial methodologies, results, and recommendations for future improvements.

• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination during trials and engineering and design for scaling up the technology.

🧑‍🔧 What do you need to succeed?

Being proactive, self-driven, and enjoying both individual and team work is essential, along with a solution-oriented approach. Proficiency in both Swedish and English is a prerequisite for this position.

We also think you have the following:

• A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the cement industry or related heavy machinery sector.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including design, installation, and troubleshooting.

• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills. 

• Passion for sustainability and green technologies.
