Cemvision and S:t Eriks partner to bring near-zero carbon concrete to market

Cemvision AB and S:t Eriks AB have signed a joint sales agreement to develop and commercialize a new generation oflow-carbon concrete products for the construction and infrastructure sector across the Nordics and the Baltics.

Cemvision, a Swedish cement technology company developing ultra-low carbon cement, and S:t Eriks, a leading Nordic manufacturer and supplier of precast concrete products, have joined forces to take a leading position in the low-carbon building materials market.

Under the agreement, S:t Eriks will incorporate Cemvision's Re-ment Massive cement into jointly developed low-carbon concrete end products, which S:t Eriks will manufacture and distribute to contractors, infrastructure developers, and landscape architects across the Nordic and Baltic markets.

The collaboration reflects growing demand from the construction industry for credible, low-carbon alternatives to conventional cement, one of the world'smost emissions-intensive materials. By combining Cemvision's proprietary cement with S:t Eriks's established distribution network and deep product expertise, the partnership is designed to make near-zero carbon concrete accessible at a commercial scale.

The two companies will collaborate on product development, testing and verification, joint marketing, and customer outreach, with commercial deliveries expected to begin in 2028 following the completion of Cemvision's first industrial-scale production facility.
